With the extent of their efforts, LAAians showcased their talent through singing at the launching of the 21st Century Learning Environment Model (CLEM) in the
division of Lipa City. Department of Education (DepEd) supervisor Mrs. Marife Morcilla had invited Lipa Adventist Academy (LAA) choir to sing the Philippine National Anthem and the Lipeño Hymn at the launching on August 13. With a theme ”Lipa City taking on the challenge of the 21st Century” the launching was held in Inosluban Marawoy National Highschool where Congresswoman Vilma Santos had attended. “It is a very great previlage to sing,” LAA choir directress Mrs. Sandra Gacias said. Furthermore, the Lipeño hymn that they have sang was Mrs. Gacias’ own arrangement of the song. “Our song can serve as a guide to other singing groups in other schools,” Mrs. Gacias also said. The LAA choir really did their best and proved that their skills are worthy to be invited in significant programs like that. “Kahit hindi man kami isa sa mga best choir sa Lipa, we are really privileged na kumanta. At tsaka charge to experience na rin.” LAA choir member Marex Jelom Fegalan stated.
